We are currently seeking an energetic, hands-on web designer and/or developer. Designs and builds web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques and tools. Designs and/or develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements. Requires understanding of web-based technologies and thorough knowledge of HTML, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and/or other design-related applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative background with excellent writing skills, the ability to multi-task. |

- Experience with database(s) Access/MySQL/SQL and writing database SQL queries.
- Outstanding graphic design skills and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks.
- Knowledge of ASP.NET, ASP, PHP, Cold Fusion, JSP, XML, VB Script, JavaScript would be an asset.
- Experience with FTP process and publishing.

- A background in software engineering, data processing, relational database management systems, Dbase, Microsoft Windows NT and client-server architecture; Previous experience documenting a Technical Design Specification including information such as the proposed system functionality and the changes required to the software.
- Experience with databases (Access, MySQL, MSSQL) and web-related technology.
- Knowledge in XML (incl. XML Schema, Namespaces) and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, UDDI)
- Self-motivated, hardworking, flexible with an ability to learn quickly. |
